Prairie Portraits, an exhibition featuring the work of Joe Fafard, Karen Holden and Vera Saltzman

This exhibition presents one of the oldest and most contested genres in the art world, the Portrait.

While each artist creates in a different media (bronze, oil and photography) they all have approached their subject with the desire to explore the spirit of humanity.

The resulting artwork reflects our sense of "self" in relation to the world as a whole while remarking on the potency of and the possibilities for each human life.
