Online Programming announced for the 5th edition of the Art Now Fine Art Fair
August 25, 2020
Art Now is excited to announce our Online program schedule for the 5th edition of the Art Now Fine Art Fair. The event may be virtual, but like the traditional fair, access to all programming is at no cost and is now accessible from anywhere in the world starting on September 17, with an online opening night reception.
From September 17 until 27, we will feature engaging panel discussions on a variety of topics from industry experts including:
A discussion about the importance of original art and how it enhances your space and can express your originality. Learn how to incorporate unique pieces into your home, in unconventional spaces, and how to include art in your everyday life.
An expert conversation about buying art online. Buying and viewing fine art has changed as we continue to navigate through our new distanced reality. This conversation will focus on this new way to buy art as a collector and what you need to know about buying art online.
A special group exhibition, Focus Booth: Art In Isolation, featuring work by Saskatchewan artists who created during the COVID-19 lockdown. We will also feature a selection of these artists in a panel discussion speaking about their pieces featured and their process.
As always, look forward to talks from some of your favourite Saskatchewan and Canadian artists, including Cam Forrester, Sharron Labatt, and Patrick Fernandez.
A special kids' gallery will feature original artwork by creative kids inspired by Saskatchewan art, and downloadable colouring sheets of Saskatchewan art featured in the show.
New this year – Our Opening Night Reception will be virtual, no travel required. On September 17 starting at 6:00 p.m. the show will be open for a special preview for invited guests, including a chance to win one of 15 amazing door prizes.
