When it comes to buying art there are no rules, unless you want to make them for yourself.
The gallerists have already curated the art for you so you know it comes from a professional artist and is one-of-a-kind. They will gladly answer all your questions. And help you find what makes your space original.

Art for occasions: We've had a tradition, my husband and I, every five years to mark our wedding anniversaries we would buy a piece of art. That has been a wonderful practice for us.
Art as a gift: Generally what we do is get certificates for galleries and allow people to make their own choices.

Art for occasions: I saw the piece of art when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I knew it was mine. Like I just had to take it home. So for years I would beg my husband to buy it, and I ended up getting it as a birthday present.

Why buy art: I think it tells a story. It's decorative and it's a luxury item too. And I like nice things.
When did you start buying art: It started as an empty wall space and just, you know, liking things that people create.
